Odd Sleeping Habits [Archive]

Hi! Ever since I got my hammy, Jill, she's had the wierdest sleeping habit. She's up at random hours throughout the day and the night, running on her wheel.. I find this strage because all my other hamsters have slept all day (except for occasional getting up to get some water) and been up only at night.

I was wondering if anyone else has hamsters with odd sleeping habits

Some hamsters will follow your sleeping patterns, it's nothing to be alarmed about, she just wants to be up when you are for the attention!

my hamster sleeps on and off (mostly sleeps during the day), but today at 10 AM (its now 1PM) he woke up and started filling his cheeks.

My robo's are up in the day qwite abit to running on there wheels,one comes up more than the other.:D

My girls sleep almost all day long and get up at nightfall. However, Pop-Tart is up a lot during the day only taking occassional naps in his tube.

My Hamster Does It Too.
She just doesnt wear herself out at night or that she wants to be played with or fed.
Most likely just needs attention.
