i got 2 new gerbils

I got 2 new gerbils from a petstore because i couldnt find a breeder they are 2 in a half months old and are males.. one is a light gray i think its lilac and the other is kinda really dark gray. I was wondering what are some really good toys to put in the tank since i have a 35g and they love it also how do u know if they are sick???? and also is a wire exercise wheel covered in paper so it cant get its tail or anything stuck safe??? because one of my gerbil has been on it since i got him home. Also when they were at the petstore she used a water bowl and i have a water bottle and they dont seem to know what it is should i pout a water bowl in there too??:confused:

ok. no dont put w the bowl. (my cputer is messing up so i going to be hard to type)they willl get used to he bttle ad drink
do put paper around the wheel. i cant telyou howat this momnt.
Save your toilet paper rolls and putthem in. buy oys at pstores. it wors, really.

its ok i understood what u were trying to say lol yes my gerbils lovvve the paper towel rolls but they havnt yet begain to chew it yet.
