Ok, none of those work. I will try and fix them, but it might take a while. Sorry.

yay! that's a much better size for a goldfish. although i notice he is a comet, so he'll need a 100 gallon or a pond in the future;)

will you be getting him any friends? not other goldfish perhaps. but maybe some white cloud mountain minnows would work? a shoal of 15 or so would look really good in a tank that size, and they're coldwater too.

Thanks all!
Honey- Yes, I know I will have to get him a bigger tank. I thought about adding the white clouds, but I'm worried about overstocking.

As promised here is another pic. I would have done more than one, but TinyPic wasn't working.
In this pic you can see more of the tank and the "cat fish" in the background. ;)

Very nice! Looks like he is enjoying his new home :)

A school of white clouds for tankmates is a neat idea. If you know you're going to be able to upgrade to a bigger tank in the future when you need to, you could even add a couple more goldfish. Dojo loaches also make good tankmates for goldfish.

You might have to upgrade your filtration if you decide to add more fish, depending on what you have now.
What do you have on the tank for filters now?
when you transfered him to the new tank, did you move the filter and gravel to th new one as well?

Thank you Nell and Shellie. :D

Nell- Yes, I moved gravel, water, and decor from the old tank to the new tank and waited 24 hours before putting him in. I also put the filter from his old tank on the new tank. The old filter is now back on the old tank, my sister is going to use it.
The filter that is on there now is for 55 gallons. I have another filter that is for 20-40 gallons. I'm not sure if I want to add any other fish. The tank set up came with a heater and, after I have upgraded him again in the future, I was thinking of making it into a tropical tank. :)

hmm, I would suggest putting the old filter back on the new tank for a while along with the new filter. The old filter contains a large portion of the biological filter, and having it on the tank for the next 2 weeks will help to colonize the new filter and prevent an ammonia spike.

Another option is to just move the filter media from the old filter into the new one instead of running the filter on the tank.

Ok, I will do that. Thanks a bunch for your help. :D
