Just had to share...my boyfriend picked up a used 50 gallon fish tank, it's wonderful! We had a 30 gallon tall tank and I hated the thing. First of all, he purchased WAY to many fish for that tank and they were all squished together. This tank is long and the fish raced around the tank after we put them in. We purchased two huge snails for the tank and they are doing great. There are also some tetra's, silver dollars, bumblebee fish, bala sharks and one algae eater.

Just had to share how great this tank is! :P

Hi,

Wow! Reading your msg, makes me think that your fishes are having a great time. http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif

You sure have quite a lot of fish, don't you? Did any of them breed?

I think your fishes are really fortunate to have you as their owner! http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif

Do you have any other fish or pets?

Write Soon.

Do you think the fish honestly care one way or the other who their owner is? Do you think they even really think that much for that matter?

Of course they care, you know they like you if they give you kisses! No I'm just kidding. They probably don't care by you personally, just how well you take care of them and how you treat them. Most animals are like that when it boils down to it. I definatly think that fish have some basis of emotion, they can at least be content or unhappy, they know when they don't like something and when they do.

Congrats on the 50 gallon, sure wish I had room for a big aquarium. What I wouldn't give for a goldfish tank....

My fish swim up to the top when I walk in the room, but not for anyone else, so they must like me more. Probably for the food :)
