please help me!!!!

i had 2 red eared sliders and i had to give them away beause they kept on biting my fish. so all my fish had no tails and some lost their fins and stuff. So i want to get 2 more new ones but before i get them i was wondering if anyone knew what i could do to stop them from attacking my fish.

Hi You can't keep fish and terapins together as in the wild the primary food source for terapins is fish . Although the do eat veg they mostley eat meat. It also sounds to me like you don't have the right set up for a terapin, if you keep fish in with it. Terapins need a very large tank with water deep enough for them to swim in but they also need land to rest on. If kept in a tank they will also make the water far too dirty for the fish too live in.
If you keep them in a pond though that is fine for the terapins if they have land too. Looks like you can't get any more until you find them a seperate home for the terapins. If I have misundestood your set up please let me know http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif
