someone I need some help??

well I am taking home a hamster for winter break from school and what if the hamster dies over winter break what will I say???Or what if he gets sick??:( :confused:

You should ask your teacher for a good contact number for a vet or local emergency clinic that deals specifically with hamsters. If he dies, there is nothing you can do about it. Death is apart of nature but if he gets sicks, you can at least get him the help he needs, then send your teacher the bill.

Calm down lol. hammies are really hardy little creatures. as long as cage is kept clean and hammie kept safe ie away from anything they could hurt self on and any potentially toxic plants / substances lol

unless the hamster is old or has a problem you shouldnt have any trouble. Ask teacher for recommnded vet and if there is anything you should worry about.

\make sure hammie cage isnt in a draft and that ham doesnt get too cold as they can go into hibernation. Too cold for a hamster is the same as too cold for you. if you feel uncomfortably cold (like want to put a coat / gloves on) then it's cold lol

even if that does happen hammie can recover if warmed up.

just make sure hammie is secure in cage when you aren't around (clothes pegs and string are great!)
