If her only problem is she is not able to eat because of her bottom teeth..you need to feed her soft food. What are you currently feeding her? If you buy lab blocks, you can soak them in water to make them mushy so she can eat. You can also soak cheerios, and other cereals like that. (Plain cereal, no sugar added). Baby foods are also good, and oatmeal as well. Can she drink water on her own?

Scrambled or boiled eggs are good too, some diced meat for protein and some tofu, will all help with weight and chewing issues. If her teeth are missing you may want to see a vet simply because sometimes when a hamster loses teeth, parts of that tooth/teeth remain in the gums causing an absess in the mouth, leading to further damage.

She'll also need her teeth trimmed on a regular basis, every month or so. Hamsters keep their teeth short by grinding them against one another, as well as gnawing things like food and toys. With only one tooth, she can't wear them down, so they'll need to be trimmed. A vet can do this, and after being shown how you can do it too. Cat nail trimmers work well, and rodents have no nerves in their teeth, so don't worry about it hurting her. Just make sure her tongue and cheeks are far out of the way.

as far as i know i think she can drink on her own, iv seen her at the water bottle having what looks like a drink! this is another reason i think her teeth have been broken is i would usually here them against the water bottle but didnt hear any noise the last time i seen her take a drink!
have been giving her some mushy bits of tomatoes and gave her a bit of chicken, she really seemed to want the chicken but couldnt do anything with it so was tearing small peices off and she tried to eat them but i think she just put it in her pouch along with some other things!
i think the reason this has happened is because she gnaws at the bars on cage very vigorously!!!!
oh and she now has a sticky/pussy eye but have bathed that in warm water but it was a bit smelly!
will be taking her to the vets tomorrow

will do
she out of her bed a while ago to do a wee but just disappeared back to bed a again!
the one thing that does keep me going though is that when i had her out earlier, she was really quite active and when i put her back in her cage again she was running about and going in her wheel but she looks really bad being so thin, shes usually a proper wee tub lol

ok, had nudge (thats her name) at the vets today and she does still have her bottom teeth but when i went to get her this morning she had a swollen face so once the vet looked to see if her teeth were there she said it could be something to do with her back teeth which has maybe caused an abcess which has caused her face to swell and can also make her be sticky and have an odour (which it has unfortunately).
so have got some liquid antibiotics to put in herr water and also some powder food to mix with water so hopefully this is going to help her!
she hasnt came out of her bed since we came home from the vets so she hasnt had a drink yet so will just leave her for a while and let her sleep and hopefully she will come out later and have a drink and some food!
poor wee soul!!!!!!!!!

oatmeal will be good for her too. Just make it up with water. if you make it quite dry you an roll it into little balls for her. i've heard of some hams going potty for it.
also recently discover my rocky goes mad for pasta and rice. i figure carbs are fattening for humans... maybe will podge up ham too?
