RIP Nudge

had to have nudge put to sleep tonight as she just wasnt getting any bettter and the vet said there was nothing more that they could do!:(

she musnt have been able to eat at all because when i took her out before i took her back to the vets she was biting me which she never ever did at all so i figured she was really wanting something to eat, so tried giving her some banana as its mushy, she tried but couldnt seem to eat it. then tried a bit of cold meat which she loved and she took it but could only hold it in her mouth, couldnt seem to do anything with it, then spat it out again!

so had to do the best thing for her!!!

You did a very responsible thing taking her to the vet. A lot of people consider it a waste of time taking a hamster to the vet, saying it's "just a hamster".

You did the best thing for her, she's happy now.

yeah i know it was the right thing to do, i couldnt just sit and watch her suffer and be in pain!

and no hamster is 'just a hamster'
a hamster is a pet just the same as any other pet (dog, cat etc) and should all be treated the same no matter how big or small they are!
