after having to have nudge put to sleep and living without a hamster for a while i decided to go out and get another and she is HUGE:eek:
she is 15 weeks old which is unusual for me cause i would normally go for one that is about 8 or 9 weeks old!
anyways i am a bit stumped for what to call her so any help would be appreciated, i would like her name to be something to do with how big she is but i cant think of anything!
ill try get pics up when i can get her to sit still for long enough:p

awww bear... thsat sounds so cute. i've had a couple of huge hammies. meg was my biggest. 7 inches long, really stocky and a whopping 220grms. people used to tease me and ask if i got guinea pig by accident lol good thing about big hammies is they tend to be healthier and problems like wet tail and colds aren't so big an issue as hammie has that much more weight and reserves to fight with.
Cant wait to see your new big ham lol

still not managed to get any pics of her yet she just wont sit still for very long shes soooo hyper lol
thinkin about different names tho no so sure bear suits her was thinking maybe gizmo or something along those lines!
so do you think at 15 weeks that she will get any bigger? i hope so!
one little problem though, she doesnt seem to want to sleep in her bed/house thing, do you think there is anything i can do to try coaxs her in? just dont want her to get cold just sleeping on the shavings!!
thanks in advance

15 weeks? lol. yeah she still might. at that age a lot of em tend to be a bit ... lanky and skinny like a teenager lol. she might well broaden out a bit more. dont worry about her wating to sleep oputside the bedroom. just drop the bedding in her cage,.. she'll soon work it out and put it where she wants it. dont worry about it. most babies take a while to click it and even then sometimes fall asleep in odd places.
As to taking a picture? i would sugest bribery lol.
