Spiny Guppy?

Hey all,

I have a female guppy who looks very strange all of a sudden. She looks like she has spines -- all of her scales are sticking out, and she's very bloated (she's almost definitely pregnant, too). She resembles a puffed-out blowfish.

Has anyone seen this before? She is also acting kind of sick, so I'm worried about her. I hope that this isn't some sort of weird disease, because I have a bunch of baby fish in my tank right now (I know that's not good; I'm clearing them out soon).

Any thoughts?

Yep, that was it. I separated her out from the others yesterday, and she died overnight. Poor thing. But it makes me feel better to know that there wasn't really anything I could have done for her.
