Hi everybody,
I just came from the birds section because everyone there seems to ignore new people on the forum. I have 5 goldfish and 1 sucker blacky thing. I've had the goldfish for about......2 months now. Throughout the time I've had them, they seem to be wearing down in the bright red color. Now they seem to have pale white instead of pearly white and orange instead of red. I'm not sure whats going on with the color, but i went to this website------>www.goldfishguy.com and he tells me that there are food that enhances color in the fish. I been feedin my fishys some cheap food and the goldfishguy recommends food that are too expensive. Does anyone have any idea if the food really works cuz im afraid he's affiliated with the company that produces the food to advertise their food.

goldfish have been known to change color over time, its normal. but if you still want to get the best color out of them it couldn't hurt to get a higher quality food, or feed them a variety of flakes and pellets and frozen, dried, or even live food.
good luck
Kelsey
