I hate to do this, but due to conditions beyond my control, I must part with my bonded pair of Lionheads (one male, one female). These Lions are approximately four months old, and pedigreed. Neither has been fixed, if you wish to breed this wonderful new class of rabbbit. China (female) is chestnut sport colored, with marbled eyes (blue and brown). Bowie (male) is chinchilla colored. He has one blind eye, which appears cloudy blue. He was born this way, and it will not affect his breeding/pet abilites. He acts like a normal bunny. These bunnies must go together, as they are bonded. It is very important that they go together, and must be kept indoors. These are house bunnies, and are partially litter-trained. They are also very loving and affectionate, and must be given floor time. Adoption price is $85 OBO for both. Keep in mind that this is actual cost to me, I'm not trying to make a buck. I might be willing to give partial or whole trade for a female rabbit (open to breed). But she must get along with my male holland lop. Feel free to call 417-868-0200 or email contact_piano@yahoo.com if interested. Email for pics. I am located in Springfield, MO and would drive halfway (up to three hours) for the right owner...

Please excuse me if this sounds rude, as it is not inteded to be, I am only curious as to why you have to give away your two rabbits but are willing to trade for another? Again, I'm not intending to be rude, I know nothing about you or the situation causing you to have to rehome your bunnies, I'm just curious because it doesn't make sense to me.
I hope you find loving homes for you bunnies though.

No, it's not rude at all. I'd probably wonder the same thing...I am over my pet limit at my house. Didn't think I'd get busted by my landlord, but I did. He told me I had to get rid of one pet or move out, and I've had my holland lop (Buschemi) for a lot longer. It would be horrible to split up a bonded pair, so you see my dilema. I can't afford to move again, I've only been here a month. Once they've been adopted, I'll be one under my pet limit, and that's too tempting. I feel horrible about the whole situation, but like i said, it's beyond my control. Please tell me I'm not a horrible person...
