Possible soon-to-be new dog!!

Well, we have an 8 year old chocolate lab right now, and my mom has been looking into another dog. She REALLY wants a basset hound, but we havn't been able to find any. Just recently, I stumbled upon a rescue site that is located not too far from here. I think we may be getting this dog from there!

Two important things with bassets: clean the ears atleast once a week, and watch their weight; they are prone to obesity.
