what does it mean when you go to someone's profile and it says 2 referrals?

I have no clue..

My only guess is that maybe someone reported one of your posts? I tried to figure it out before.. but Ill look around again to see if i can figure it out.

What are referrals?

The administrator may have enabled referrals, which allows you to be credited for any new users you invite to the forum.

You gain referrals by promoting Pets Hub using your unique referral link. The link you should use as your referral link is this:

http://www.petshub.com/forums/index.php?referrerid=27874

Each time someone follows this link to Pets Hub and registers as a new member, your referral count will be incremented by one. The number of referrals you have can be viewed in your profile.

Your administrator will have more information on any prizes or rewards that may be given out for referrals. Please be courteous when promoting Pets Hub by not spamming other web sites with your referral link just to gain referrals.



This was the other one I thought it could be, but it doesn't make sense that I got one.. because I don't remember telling anyone to sign up.. oh well

good question i was wondering if maybe that makes your own rank or something higher like petshub member to a petshub guru or saint or something along those lines...

and along with that how do you become a guru or saint or elder?

Its down to the number of times you post - over 100 is pets hub buddy, over 200 is pets hub lover (I think), I'm not sure after that, but I think saint is the highest. There's a thread on here somewhere about it.
