ive gt a new hammie!

:D well I was missing haveing a hamster as patched died abit ago and today i went to the garden centre and went to the pet section but they didnt have any long haired syrian hamsters so i kept looking around and saw a grey one and i handled a couple of them and i told the woman i would think about it, after my mum said ive got it to look after for the next 3 year and told me ide better not loose intrest i went back for the grey one and someone was buying it. I looked in the next cage and saw a grey and white hammie with big ears and i got him.... i'll post pics tomoz when he settled in...:D :D :D :D :D :D

congrats on your new ham ham! where abouts are you from, as one of my local pet shops is a pets corner in a garden centre lol, it'd be cool if it was the same one!

LOL a garden centre near me also sells pets, i got my gerbils from there many years ago. Best of luck with the new Ham!

hi, im from west yorkshire i got him from victoria garden centre, ive named him zuke.
ive alredy been handling him and he climbs into my hand with no problem and he doesnt run away or anything in start handlinjg my hamsters as soon as possible and they will get used to me, he's iproved he lets me pick him up now and lets me hold him to me without jumping.
I'll be having all day on/off with him taming him tomoz as well and a couple of weeks i'll have him cuddly and chubby in no time lol.

one of my girls loved me from the day i got her, but the other 2 were much harder to tame (one's still wild lol). you're so lucky he loves you :)
