I bought some chincilla sand today

i bought some sand today for my two dwarf females but they dont roll around in it or anything...the one was digging around in it that was about it...how do i get them to actually "bathe" in it?

Gosh! I don't know that you can!!
However if they are digging arond in it, they'll probably still get it in their fur, so it must do some good:)

only just saw this post! my dwarf hams usually have a dig in the sand for a few days and then bathe in it, and then use it as a toilet! now they come running for it and bathe in it a few times a day, then use it as a toilet after a few days still! hope this is actually helpful lol! though your hams may already be using it now!

They may eventually figure it out, just leave it in there for a while. :)
Dig you finger in it in front of them.
