How I got my Dog

On the Highway about a week ago, we were stuck in some traffic, like always. And I mean trafic like we Didn't move for a half hour. We were lucky enough to be behind some accident. Anyway, some jerk on the other side of the highway threw a huge box onto out side, and it almost hit our car. At first I was mad about him littering. Being as how we werent moving, I got out of the car and looked in the box. Under about six layers of blankets there were seven puppies and one mother. The mother was dead. Four of the babies were dead, and two were badly wounded. The final one was under the mother and unharmed. The two badly wounded puppies had scars like if he'd been stabbed, cut, burnt and one even looked as though someone stabbed him in the eye. I took the three live one in. One died as soon as we got home, the other lived for two long, hard days. The last one is my puppy, Star. I call her that because she shone a light in the darkness of the death of her litter to me. I feel great to have a pet like her.

Did you see who was driving the car? It disgusts me that there are people like that. There should be more of you you are obviously kind caring and wonderful. Well done of you for doing that!! I'm glad you found the pup :-)

Awww, Star is lucky to be alive. I feel sorry for her siblings and mother though. Your a great person to take her in.

Thats so sad its like in a japanese comic when a litter of puppies were thorwn in a river and only 2 survied :bawling: it must be so sad that starrs siblings died you should call some kind of animal police to arrest the guy that killed the mother and the 3 siblings
and the wounds of the others did you get a good look at the person because you should not just let a person go away for a violent death of an animal.

Its too bad that all of those poor puppies had to die but I am so glad you were able to save one.

Secondly, I am so glad you saved those pups and at least gave the two that were wounded and passed rather quickly a matter of hours to at least be cared for. I am very glad that you saved Star, such a lucky dog! I would love to see some pictures of your Star. Again, welcome to the family!

that is really disgusting that anyone could do something like that to a living creature, let alone a mother and their babies :( I'm glad the story had part of a happy ending and Star lived. You did an awesome job trying to save the other 2 babies.

wow this world isnt perfect so this is what the world is likei mean thoise who see it as a cool place rather perfect....they only look another way others look 1 way and see no good.....then there are people who look both ways and see good and bad.there can never be all good no matter what but there are those who see both and dont care....then there are people who see both ways and help to reduce bad to the very least like you.....you did a marvelous act of bravery and for those people i hope that they learn what they did was terrible. but people like you are honored by God :quote:FoamyFreedom There will be a special place in heaven for people like you!
