Tasha updates!!

Since my other thread is so full and i wanted to start all brand new I decided to make another thread about how tasha is doing after her surgery and everything. Well jeremy took her in. They have to do something different since she has that infection. They are gonna call jeremy when its over and let him know how it went. Then hes gonna call me and i will let you all know. I already miss tasha. She was my talkative cat...always meowing and doing silly goofy things. Felix is kinda silly but there is no cat in the world like tasha lol. So i will keep you all updated in this thread. And i would appreciate people who could care less or have rude things to say to stay out. Because i do have friends here who would like to know how everything went.

Um well 1 week ago the vet said she was definantly pregnant. And she had 2 or 3 weeks to go...so 1 or 2 more weeks to go. It seems everyday shes getting bigger. But don't worry when she has them i will def post about it...and maybe pics.

no its alright hun. I'm not really sure how tasha got it. I dunno if shes had it ever since i found her or what. And its a very bad infection...only spaying will cure it cuz its in her uterus. And taking out her uterus is the only way. But i have no idea how or why she got it. I'm impatiently waiting for my husband to call me when they call him and say how it went. I'm hopeing shes ok.

well hubby just called. He said he got ahold of the vet and they said the surgery went really well. And tasha is sleeping now and recovering. We get to take her back home tomorrow morning sometime.

Sounds like the surgery went well, and I am sure you are waiting impatiently until tomorrow when you can pick her up! :)

YAY tasha is back. Shes in a room by herself cuz we didnt want the other 2 to bother her. She walked out of the carrier and has been sleeping ever since. The surgery went well. And for being such a serious surgery plus we did the laser it was only $105. Which isnt bad at all really for what had to be done. I feel bad for her cuz her fat tummy looks so funny being shaved lol. Shes such a sweetie. So tasha is doing wonderful :)

yup i just went in and checked on her again. She got out of the bed and was laying on the floor. But she seems more awake now. I have been checking on her every hour or so....im paranoid i know but i wanna make sure shes alright lol.

yup!!! Today tasha is kinda acting like her old self again. Shes trying to get out of the room he have her in. But felix is so playful i dont want him to hurt her. Jeremy says maybe this weekend we can bring her out some and watch her carefully. The vet told us 2 weeks but come one thats kinda over doing it. Little brat jumped in the window today...scared the crap out of me. But shes ok...nothing happened. And i would assume some jumping is ok. I can't wait till shes all the way healed up. But shes been a little booger today trying to get out and all. But she seems to be healing up nicely :)

ok so today i went out and finally decided to get tasha a collar. I have been wanting too but just never did and felix has a collar so i thought she could feel like part of our family...disfunctional family but part of it anyways. Well she seemed to like it. But she took it off or it feel off or something. Its the same as felix collar...its a breakaway collar but she wasnt amused at all. I plan on putting it on her again...felix was stubborn at first too lol

ok yeah this is an update thread about tasha...so now for the update. Shes good, shes getting back to her old self again. I notice shes more calm now. But she doesnt talk...i miss that. She is healing up nicely. Plus she has lost weight. Hubby and I wonder if the infection made her uterus inflamed and large. Cuz shes like 1 or 2 pounds lighter. Anyways as always thats it....

im so glad to hear shes doing well. i love her coloring. is she considered tortie? she looks huge is some of her other pics so maybe its not a bad thing she lost a little weight hahah...she might just not feel like eating as much from the surgery.

ok tasha was being goofy today. Rolling around on the floor. Jeremy even picked her up. I was so nervous and i didnt wanna pick her up...being super paranoid like i am i didnt want her to open up or something. But she seems to be getting on great. Her incision isnt very big either cuz she had the laser surgery. How long before we can let her out? Shes getting annoyed being in the bathroom. But felix is so hyper I dont want him to wrestle with her and make her break open. Her surgery was this past monday so its been 4 days... But other then that tasha is doing really wonderful. Shes so playful i never noticed before.

since its been awhile just wanna let everyone know tasha is doing great. Shes acting like a kitten and is being so goofy. We let felix in the bathroom to see her and they licked each other...it was so cute. But I still wanna keep her in there until its been 2 weeks from her surgery cuz i wanna make sure shes healed enough to play and wrestle without opening herself up.

ok well since wednesday tasha has been out of the bathroom. Shes doing great. I was looking at her tummy and its healing up real good. Its just a scar now...so shes gonna be just fine. The only thing that confuses me is shes still aggressive towards felix. And shes acting more like a kitten then ever. I was petting her and she got in a playful mood and just started biteing. I really hope she stops attacking felix cuz jeremy says we have to rehome tash if she doesnt stop. :(

your so lucky they did it for so cheap! My cats surgery was going to cost over 1000 CASH, too bad he didnt make it long enough. Appreciate every day you have with your baby!:(

also, shes probly still mad about the surgery. 2 of our cats faught hte entire time we had them, its jsut something we couldnt help.

well the surgery was more expensive cuz of the infection but it wasnt bad at all really.

yeah i think shes just miffed with everyone now lol. She will go from licking felix to attacking him. But he has no scratches or anything so maybe its just playful fighting lol. Shes much thinner now too. Especially compared to victoria lol.
