How to help my hamster survive the summer?

Its not really about the heat, cos my house is quite cool and we usually have the air conditioner on when the temp is too high. But we are annoyed by those mosquitoes. I am worried if those little insects is gonna harm my hamsters, cos some unknown insects can be really small! So please tell me how to deal with it, thanks!

You can get a good mite / fly spray for the cage that deters flies and insects without hurting ham bam... the one i use is made by johnsons and you spray cage with it when cleaning and leave for half hours.
