lol sorry, i usually assume male for small animals lol! my memory is terrible! she is gorgeous :) keke is a doll too :)
do you know the colours of the parents? where did you get them from? sorry if you've already said this in another post :( we usually have only a few colours in our stores, the agouti, argente and brown-grey. there was this gorgeous silver-white patched one today, but my boyfriend wouldn't let me get her, even though her sisters were bullying her! wish there were more interesting coloured ones around here to admire!

Their bother is a tan colour with red eyes, their father a grey and white with black. So both take after their daddy whom I saw a picture of and he is gorgeous. I got them from a couple that breed dwarf hamsters. I saw some really cute ones at a petsmart near here, a black and why one, he was gorgeous. I fell in love with Boo the first picture I saw of her and actually the first picture of what turns out to be Keke made me want a white one as well. They were actually the only girls of the litter of seven. :) The litter had three normal brown ones, three whites, and the one grey (Boo!).

so gorgeous! one day i hope to get an interesting coloured breeding pair and breed them once to make 2 little single-sex colonies! the different colours would be useful for telling them apart lol! mine are solitary, well one's agressive and the other lost her sis a few weeks ago, so i dont get to watch them interact, which i miss :( they must be so cute grooming and sleeping together, it's one of the nicest things about having a pair of beautiful little animals :)

LOL! Grooming and sleeping together? Keke licked Boo's face once. Other than that they just basically wrestle with one another and sleep separately. But that's mainly since I have so many hiding places at the moment, they will soon lose those (the boxes are in there since they are too tiny to get to the hole to get between the cages and also too small to reach the habitrail wheel... I'm going to try setting them up in a different cage this weekend and pick up another silent spinner. I want to see them sleep together those buggers! lol

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of one of your hamsters. :( I would be so devastated if one of these girls passed away.

yep, i was devastated, she was 8 weeks old :( it was a rectal prolapse, had her put down.
they used to sleep together most nights, and then the active one (squeaky) would get up to play and wake pepper up lots, which she didnt like lol! she got her own back by walking on her face, and got a squeak for it!
i love little ham pairs :)

Hehe. Cute. Mine don't seem to really care about the other unless they wake them up, then they wrestle some. I haven't actually heard any squeaks, so I hope this means they aren't really trying to hurt each other. They have yet to sleep together. Once the little boxes are out maybe... I dunno... Boo seems to love the igloo I have in there which probably just fits the one hamster. I guess they both could technically fit in there since they are so tiny. Poor Keke will be lost without her box.

mine could share an igloo upto when squeaky died, but they preferred to make a nest against the side of the bin cage (so cute, you could watch them through it!).
the squeaks were just a low pitched "get off my eye!" type thing, and they never wrestled. maybe you could get another igloo? or a big one so they could maybe sleep together?

I have another house in there as well. I'm thinking I may end up buying a bigger igloo as well, will see.
