Does AnyOne Know What Pipe and tools i need to connect bins?

Does anyone know what type or size pipe i could use for a large syrian hamster and what tools i would need to cut a hole for the pipes to connect. Just a knife or soemthign else? Thanks A lot any help is apperciated.

Well what you could do is, like i did is get a steel ring the size of the tube. Hold it over the gas ring with some plyers untill it gets red hot and then press it against the bin and it will burn through a perfect hole.

yes this is a really good idea! i used a box cutter, took ages to get the hang of it, though i only destroyed one box in the process lol! i use rotastak tubes, and they are big enough for my more-than-average sized syrian! with the rotastak, they have metal anti-gnaw rings, so these are the exact size if you want to heat it up and melt the hole!
