Hello, I'm just looking to see if anyone knows of some good sites, or if they themselves have any information on how to make dog bows.

I've been wanting to get some for my female shih tzu, but everywhere I look online for some, or in the stores they cost anywhere between $5-$15 and I just think it's insane to pay that price!!!

I'd love to be able to do to the dollarama and buy abunch of materials and make tuns of bows myself for my dogs, friends and families dogs, as well as to donate some to the local shelters... so, if anyone can help.. please do.. :)

Dixie will love ya forever!! hehe...

Ooh, you have just given me a project! I would like to make a bow for my sheltie to go around her neck at horseshows, probably the shade of Belle's from Beauty and the Beast. I will definitely look for you!

For buying bows, check ebay. Now I know you don't need 100 bows, but for example, this seems like a good price.:

Well, I did make some last week.... but, didn't totally like the look of them on my dog..... I'd rather look for how to make the double bows as they seem more fuller and pretty...

Look in my earlier post in the link that I labled "COOL!"

I think what you want is the "Flat Bow Design" Only with different ribbon and less...ruffles. I am going to try my hand at that kind here in just a second.

So, I attempted. Didn't turn out the greatest, but it looks alright. I'm thinking I need thicker or wider ribbon?

Atleast Dixie will look cute in this bow tomorrow! I'll have to add pictures tomorrow, I took some tonight, but bad quality. Not enough lighting, since it is after all 1a.m... hehe

But here's the best I can do... and don't laugh!! :p
