We need to place our 5-year old male buff-colored cat. He's a small cat, neutered and declawed. He's great with kids and loves to frolic with other cats. Our problem with him in the interest of full disclosure is that he has started spraying in the house, even though he didn't do that for the first 4.5 yrs. of his life. We have tried everything including letting him outside some of the time, which he loves. But he got beat up severely by the female cat who is stressing him out in the first place. She made her home here last year, had kittens, and we kept her and 2 of the kittens. Everyone gets along great except she HATES him, and she really got him good lately. He'd love a home where he can go outside SOME of the time, though I'd say after a long period of living indoors so he doesn't get lost. Anyway, my husband is not going to tolerate him one more day once he finds out about all the spraying; I've kept him in the dark about most of it but it's getting bad. He's a nice cat but we can't seem to get him to stop doing this, and it's on new leather furniture and brand new bedroom dressers, etc. Feliway didn't help, even the spray. Even keeping him far away from the female - she's outside permanently now - isn't stopping him. We hate to find him a new home but I know my husband isn't gonna stay this patient for much longer. His name is Forrest, Forrest Gump, and the name fits him perfectly. Thanks! Please contact if interested in Forrest. He deserves a nice home.
