Heya!!!!!! *Glomps everyone*

I got a 50 gallon tank at a garage sale (maybe-gotta measure it one of these days), and I have an apartment as of august 1, and I can have my kittie cat (she's 11), and I'm getting rats hehe!

So, I shall be more active again, I swear...

If it is indeed a 50 gal- I'm hoping to get angel fish, mollies, dragon fish (don't remember their exact name), and yoyo loaches - do I need a couple otos?

What are some links for the nitrogen cycle? I'm going to be able to cycle the tank before putting fishies in there! I can't wait!!!

It's prob gonna be december or so before I do the fish tank though
I'm doing that and rats in 6 months or so - gonna build a cage for the rats.

How can I go about cleaning it?

sounds like you've got a standard 29 gal tank.
The best way to clean it is vinegar for mineral deposits and water stains. Bleach works well too, but you need to be sure to rinse it well and let it dry completely.

and MG, nice to see you around again too! sure has been quiet around here lately.

:P I was quoting Independence Day (since the 4th of July was this week :D).

So, my tank is only 30 gallons :P:( Oh well...

Maybe I can still have like 1 angel fish, 3 or 4 each of lyretail and dalmation mollies and 2 to 4 yoyo loaches :D
