Im finally getting my new pets on saturday woohooo im getting 4 roborovskii hamsters 1 male and 3 females all unrelated they are a breeding family and ive been told they have babies at the mo aswell i so cant wait to see them, i will post pics as soon as i can :D:surfing:

You are going allow them to just breed? Whats the reason they breed? Just because?

Why not separate the males and females and give those poor females a break from obvious back to back breeding. (Which is extremely irresponsible..Would YOU want to live your life pregnant and nursing all the time?). Not to mention more babies are born before the others are even weened.

the male is seprate from the females and they have not had bak to back breeding so that is not obvious neither is it irresponsible and also more babies are not born before the others are weened thank you. maybe instead of getting funny thinking you no what im doing what they have all been doing maybe you shold ask before you start typing stuff that aint true

Breeding them for no reason IS irresponsible. Whats your reason? Obviously if this were a reputable responsible breeder they wouldn't be giving you an entire "Family" of hamsters....

Not to mention looks like you have gerbils you breed as well, are your dogs neutered and spayed or do you breed them too?

who said im breeding them for no reason????? roborovskii hamster are hard to get hold off i will be getting one male and 3 femals to breeed for a shop and my local zoo as they have 2 males and need females for conservation and yeah i have put a male with my gerbils but they have only had a male with them once and no babies yet and yes my dogs and neutered and spayed why would i breed brother and sister ?????????????? but what i do with my animals is no reason for you bitching at me i have never done anything and never will do anything to harm my animals they are my pets not just something to breed from!!!!!

Well..maybe there, but they are all too common here.

And even so, obviously its still not responsible if you just throw them together to INBREED.

Breeding for pet shops also proves to be irresponsible.

Just because people breed irresponsible does not mean they hate their animals and want to harm them. And just because I am saying whats going on is irresponsible does not mean I am saying you hate your animals and you are trying to harm them. My mom used to breed dachshunds and I never disagreed with it. We love out dogs more than anything, and when I started researching and understanding what condones a responsible breeder..we stopped.

nothing is been inbred none of my animals are related as i said in my first post so not being related mean there not being inbred yeah the gerbils are all sisters but the last time i looked 3 females cant breed and make babiesthanks for the concern but nothing i am doing is irrsponsiblem, just because it common there this is a totally different place year there are people out there that do it fo the money but im not all our pet for the shop come from the staff we do no buy in pets from proper breeders as they always come from inbred animals and they are usually not very friendly and have some thing wrong with them so it is better if we breed them at least we know there not inbred there not pulled away from the parents to early and they will be friendly sow en you see it like that its is a lot better!!!!

The DWARF HAMSTERS..That is whats being inbred. A "breeding family" meaning the father and daughters, the daughters mom and brother are all INBREEDING.

To be responsible you have to find good homes..and when an animal is in a pet store, you can't do that..Anyone can buy them.

And what Mad means is, we cannot understand much of what you are typing because there are a lot of errors, and no period marks. A period= "." <<That little dot right there
