Is it absolutely necessary to clip a robo's nails? Will something bad happen if I don't? I am too afraid to cut them. They move too much.
Also, do they sell hamster bath dust? I have been using chinchilla dust but I'm not sure that's good for them.
Any and all advice is much appreciated! Thanks!

Why would you want to cut your robo's nails? I've never heard of anybody cutting a hamster's nails, let alone a robo hamster. If you're worried about the nails getting too long, just make sure to have lots of wooden toys in the tank and they should wear down naturally.
Also, never use chinchilla dust, only chinchilla sand. All my hamsters, including my robo, loved chinchilla sand. ;)

no, you don't need to clip any nails.
dbl is correct on the sand. Make sure to NOT get the dust. You can get chinchilla sand at practically any pet stores. Don't keep it in their cage for a long time. It will really dirty up the cage if it's left in for a long time.

You needn't bother clip nails.
Yeah and ditto the sand thing = ;)
