HI,
I haven't really been around for a while, I've been ridiculously busy with a mountain of commitments!
My poor baby has gone! I was going to take him to the vet, but nature took it's course quicker!
He started off with what I thought was a small healing cut on his leg, I took him to the vet, who at the time didn't think it was an issue, within a week it was covering half his leg, so back we went and she told us it was cancer:(
He did really well up until the last couple of days, we were going to take him today, but this morning he was gone:(
Guinness has to have been one of the friendliest hamsters ever, he loved our company and being out with us on the sofa, he would look up at us if we weren't fussing him and climb in our laps until we did, he adored his ball time and just anything that involved him being handled.
We love Guinness very much, we rescued him from school where he had been living in the tiniest tank ever (5 or 10 gallon I think), we bought him a massive house and we have all been happy ever since!
Goodbye my gorgeous boy, you will be very sadly missed:( XXXXXX
