So I was at work today, and a customer comes up to me and tells me there are rodents in the woman's restroom. I asked what kind of rodents, and she said some mice and hamsters. So I go take a look.and low and behold, she was right...hamsters and mice. There were 5 mice, 3 males and 2 females (One who was very pregnant, and no doubt the other is pregnant as well), there was 2 campbell's dwarf hamsters (1 male and a pregnant female), there were 6 Robo hamsters (3 baby males,1 adult males, a nursing mother with I saw 5 babies, and a pregnant female).

I took the 3 male mice, and the 3 baby male robos. And the other got divided up amongst co-workers. I really didn't want any females whatsoever.

They were all in glad containers (The mice were all together, and ALL the hamsters were together..yes, the two species were mixed AND fighting.).

Pictures of the baby robos (They are about 3-4 weeks old..These are my first robos)For the time being they are in the 5 gallon kritter keeper I brought them home in, but once I move (in less than a week), they will be moved into a spacious bin cage (And the seed mix in the picture is I had available to use at work, I switched them to my homemade mix as you can see in a later picture):

I work at Petsmart and we've had so many animals left. Many in the restrooms(two cats and two dogs in the past three years I've worked there) and many cats in boxes and two dogs left tied to a tree at 3 in the morning. Some people make me sick :(

awww those poor babies. People make me sick. The least they could have done if they didnt want them anymore is tell you or contact a shelter. But to dump them in a restroom is so mean and cruel. Glad you and your coworkers got them all. They are really cute. Are you planning on keeping them? If so jo needs names lol.

aww they are beyond cute :) Its a good thing the customer informed you of them. Who knows what could have happened had they been there longer.

I love robos... I've only had one, though. Mine was never tame enough to actually sit on my hand, though! They seem super-friendly and they're very cute. :)

How do you plan on telling them apart once you name them? :D

I have absolutely no idea how I will tell them apart once they are named lol. Maybe a little mark on their fur or something.

Haha, it took me FOREVER to remember which Robo is which. The best way is to see any markings on their forehead. Mine have different sized black streaks.

You should name them after Alvin and the chipmunks..lol. Ok that's all the suggestions I have.

They are way cute though. Good luck with them!

Just read this post! People are really quite unbelievable, fancy leaving the poor little things there, and I'm presuming the majority of this planet knows what happens when you mix males with females!!!!..... Or am I sadly disillusioned:)!
Anything could've happened to them! But.... fortunately for them, you work there and they've found a good home!
They really are adorable........and LUCKY :)

My sister and I also just rescued a syrian hamster that was abandoned at the petstore we work at. The person just dumped two females and a male in a box by our habitats. Too many people buy animals on a whim or impulse, and then decide a few months later they don't want them anymore. arg.
