R.I.P Biffy

Biffy unfortunately had to be put down last friday :sad:. He had brused and cut his genitals after having poo stuck to them and was not eating or drinking properly. He would not respond to antibiotic treatment. Anyway i just felt like I wanted to give him a proper send off. I feel like i didn't give him enough attention while he was here and I didn't think that i would feel this bad when the time came but i just feel empty...

So here are some lovely pictures in Biffys memory. He was a gorgeous hammy and i will always love him.

You're right, he was a very handsome man. I don't think I've ever seen a hamster that looks like that.

I think it's great that you did not let him suffer and that you tried to help him... so many people see hamsters as throw away pets and would never dream of providing them with medical care, let alone providing them with medicine. Anyhow, if it's any consolation, know that you helped him out in his last days, and I'm sure he knows that too.
