Hey guys... I was wondering what the best brand is for lunge lines, halters, etc. I read that paying a little bit more for your equipment pays off in resistance to wear and tear... I would also like to know the approx. price. Thanks and have a Verry Merry Christmas:)

If you want to "spare no expense", then I would HIGHLY suggest buying the Clinton Anderson Lunge Rope(http://downunderhorsemanship.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=7&products_id=87) and invest in his "Gaining Respect and Control on the Ground" series.
Although I will say that they have really lessened the quality of the snap on that line. That just looks like a cheap carabiner. I do love the material that the rope is made of and the snapper on the end of the line though.
^That would be my first choice.
Make sure you really know
-How to lunge a horse properly.
-What is the purpose/ what do you want to get out of lunging.
You can do a lot of damage to you and your horse by not doing it properly.
Here are some inexpensive options.
This is the one we most commonly use. You can get it without the stud chain. http://www.horse.com/products/gift-0__sku-BNH56.html
Here is another good supply resource.
