Hey just thought I would share some pics.
First off Yes I have a critter trail, and only 1 gerbil. We play with her often and she gets to get out of the cage when the cat is away (other room). You will see a pic of our cats head in the gerbil's cage. Don't be alarmed she wasn't in there. She was in her hampster ball. Ok on to the photos.

Have you ever considered getting her a companion?

yes today i actually looked at new gerbils. but i think it will be a few months down the road.

I'm glad you're considering it... you might want to further consider adoption rather than purchasing an animal from a pet store. Just something to think about. :)

An animal shelter. You don't specify where in the US you live, but if you go on Petfinder.com and put in your information and search for gerbils, the gerbils awaiting forever homes in your area will be found. If you have no luck that way, you could always look up local shelters and give them a call and they may be able to help you out.

Awww! She is sooooo CUTE! I love how she has a black tail! Her color looks like Jace's color. ...Except for Jace does not have a black tail. *Jealousy* Lol. The pic of the kitty going in the cage is cute too. Ya know, when/if you get another gerb for a companion for her, you may have to do a split cage. Especially, if it's down the road. I didn't know you could adopt gerbs. Well, I mean I adopted Jace, but he was dropped off by someone at the pet store. I've never seen anything other than cats and dogs in shelters here where I live. But I'll have to check out that pet finder thing.

awww shes adorable. Looks just like my gerb Rascal. Only Rascal is a boy lol. I love Chocolate Siamese gerbils they are very pretty.

I'm glad your looking into getting her a friend. Gerbils are very very social creatures. And once your girl has a friend and all is well you will see a totally different change with her. She will seem happier and play more. :)
