Hi,

I have been looking for a GSD puppy for a while now. I found one on craigslist for $35 and she was promised to me. So I went out and bought a ton of stuff. Then I get an e-mail saying that they just gave her away. I am heart broken and am looking again.

I am in college for business, then I am going to be going the Triple Crown Dog Training Academy in Texas, its the number one in the nation. I am looking for a dog to take with because you can bring your own dog to learn with.

With that said I really do not have a lot of money to spend (thats why I was looking on craigslist) I will give it all the love in the word.

Have you tried Petfinder? I know it's a long shot, but you could also try Freecycle and see if there's anybody trying to rehome their pet before taking it to the pound.

I do hope you won't have any issues with money for everyday upkeep. As well as for health, both the yearly things and possible emergencies. All the love in the world won't feed your dog or convince the vets to work for free.

That said, I wish you good luck finding a dog, and recommend looking at shelters too. There should be breed-specific rescues too, if you've really got your mind set on a GSD.
