I thought I would share this experience:

Princess: our Blacklab- German Wirehimer griffon terrier has been amature trained to bring my cane, keys, and purse to me but this 8 year old girl, whom we've had since she was around 8 to 12 weeks old has also learned a few other things to.

We take her for rides in the car which she loves, but if we forget the cell phone she drags it back into her seat while she waits for us. "She knows she's not supposed to, but she's a dog and she sees us use it.

One day in December 2007 my husband was having a test done at the hospital, and you know how it is: wait, wait, and wait, so we left her home with a cousin to come over and let her out with the other dog to do her bsiness while we were at the hospital.

We forgot and left the cellphone on the desk when we went to the hspital. When we got home my husband complained about his cell phone being missing!

We had company, "Family to help us," ad right about 3: A.m he woke up, and started calling his cell phone from the home phone. We could hear it, but couldn't locate it, and at the last minute when everyone was finally awake my sister in law let the dogs outside We have 2.
She followed Princess outside because she was pulling a "Lassie, so to speak, and low: There was the cell phone, in it's case, and in the mud.

I suppose my cousin didn't catch Princess because she has a beard, and the cellphone case was black. Ever since then, Princess has become known as, The Cellphone Queen.
