Please HELP me save this horse!

I am looking for donations to save the horse Fort Chiswell's Straight Shooter from a broker. He has a week before he is put on a meat truck and sent across the border.

He is practically family, though I have never met him. We have three close relatives of his. We raised his sire, have a half brother of his, and have his sire's half brother and one of his cousins.

My beloved 28 year old Harry(the pretty horse with the blaze I'm sure you have seen in my other posts) is Straight Shooter's maternal Uncle.

He is #33 on the www.ac4h.com Broker Pages. ANY donation would be of great help in saving this boy.

If 15 people were to donate $50 he would be saved from slaughter.

I am sick. #33 got no donations. He was one of two that were not able to be saved. No one gave a dollar to save him.

it makes no sense at all to me... he is young. he is registered. he is broke to ride. he is broke to drive. they say he is sweet. I KNOW his bloodlines and know that he should have a good mind.

I just don't understand...... He has one day left and people have already given up on him. The only way he is to be saved is if someone purchases him outright. And with that, you would be able to sell him at will(meaning you save him from being sent to slaughter or being broken down on the road. There would be no shame in buying from this situation to resell. You just give him more time to live and a better chance of finding him a good home.). Anyone want to lend me $550? I'll pay you back.

I am just heartbroken over this.
