So I finally got permission to lease a horse. There is this one for lease, Digger, and I used to ride him a few years ago but stopped because he was pretty push button. The only thing about him that isn't perfect is that he likes to race the other horses and always goes really really fast.
One of my goals for leasing was to get better. Now would be he be a good horse to get better on because I can focus entirely on what I am supposed to be doing, or is he not good because he does a lot of things for me? I wouldn't ride him in my lessons, just by myself or with friends.
What do you think? I really love this horse, he's really sweet but full of personality, but I am just afraid he is a horse to buy not one to lease, if you know what I mean.
HELP!
