Ok, my dog is partly housetrained. She'll go by the door when she needs to go. But, if you don't come soon enough, she won't whine, she just pees on the floor anyway! How do I fix this and make her whine instead of pee when no one sees her...

I think persistence will be the best thing. Really praise her when you see her standing at the door waiting to go to the toilet, make a big fuss and then make another big fuss when she goes to the toilet outside. My dog doesn't whine when he wants to go outside to the toilet either but he will come and get my attention instead. Just keep trying, your dog will figure out its own way of letting you know. That's just the next step in the training process!lol you might have to keep checking if she isn't in the room with you to make sure she isn't at the door. I also ask my dog 'you want the toilet' and if he does he will run to the back door to get put out, just like if I tell him to sit, he sits. Just say that or any word to your dog when she is at the door and she will learn that that word is associated with the toilet! Good Luck!

How old is your dog? I really dont have any advice except keep a good eye on him or her. I keep my puppy in the same room with me when possible, she wont go in front of me normally but if she finds her way out of the kitchen she will go on the floor.
good luck,
