Crazy hamster Story

Ok I know there's probably a lot crazier hamster stories but listen to this. My Long haired teddy bear hamster, Chester, escaped from his cage on the front porch into the woods. Everyone figuired he was probably dead or some owl got him, but I thought he might still be alive. So I left some food outside his cage and left the door open on it. Every night I checked his cage to see if he would come back. Finaly on the 7 day I walked out at about 8:00pm and there he was sitting in his cage. I ran inside to show everyone and they couldn't believe it. He had a few injures inclueding one big one on his left testicle, but I sprayed them with fungisan and there all healed up now. As a reward for coming home I bought him a huge cage with tons of little add-ons. He's happily sleeping upstairs right now I don't think he'll ever escape again. Oh ya and another thing that is funny, is that that week he escaped, was also his 1yr birthday:bday: .

well i hope your happy you found him.once my guinea pig escaped under my front steps but we got him out. and another time i found both my guinea pigs in the neighbours back yard. but then out of the corner of my eye i saw a cat watching them getting ready to run at them and try and eat them but i scared the cat away so it wouldn't eat my guinea pigs! :D

Thats cool.i had a hamster that excaped from his cage he died from some strange illness shortly after.

I had one hamster, a female syrian hamster named Peachy, and before I left for camp I forgot to close her cage door all the way and she escaped while I was away. Over the weekend, my hamster climbed upstairs and chewed a hole through the screen of an open window. We suppose she fell out the window, which was a 15 foot drop. We didn't find her body within our property and she may have escaped into the woods behind our house. Anways, it was miraculous that you found your hamster.
