I have a chinchilla rescue and I will take your healthy chinchillas. If you can no longer take care of them or you just don't want them anymore than I will take them. I have a hudge cage for them. If you want to donate any cages or supplies that would be great. I would be willing to pick them up if you live within 1 1/2 hours from me other wise you may have to drive half way. I live in New York and will take chinchillas from New York, New Jersy, Pensylvania, or Connecticut. Please feel free to email me at

Any male chinchillas up for adoption that are 1 and 1/2 years of age or older? How did you start your rescue? I would to set up a network with you to cover a broader area. I live in Delaware.
Let me know! Christina

doesnt seem much like a rescue if your only willing to take in chinchillas that are healthy. some of them out there arent so healthy & still need somewhere to go.
your not breeding any of the rescues you get in right?
when i take in a rescue, they never come into contact with my breeders, & we always make sure to wash really well after playing with them. even if they look healthy, that doesnt mean there is nothing else wrong with them. i would be very careful if you are breeding them, & or putting them around your breeders/pets.
i also normally look for better homes for the animals i take in. (if i dont fall in love with them first, haha & that normally happens.)
just had to put my two cents in.
