degu.... get one?

About a month ago, a saw a Degu and absolutly fell in love with it. I really want one, but I want to know somthings about them first. How are their tempers, are they nice or are they very likley to bite? Are they very nervous animals or are they calm? Are they messy? Thank you if you help me!:D

I got my degu's about a month ago, and let me tell ya, If u have had
a Gerbil or hamster before, That expeirience with them will really help if
ur going to get a Degu.
They are very nice pets, they are fairly noisy
( they chirp alot ) they are not at all messy in any way ( give them
a piece of a clean rag for a washroom ) they may nibble a bit, but it
doesnt hurt at all. Hope this helps! :bouncy2:

yeah, I still want one, but the only place near me that sells them, dosen't handle them at all, so they are sort of wild. And when they do get held, they squeak really loud and fight to get away. So, I just gotta find a good breeder or a good petshop that takes care of them pretty good. And your info does help, thanks!
