I want to get a hamster but not sure....

Hey sup?I just got word that my Teacher at school has new baby hamsters and shes giving them away ASAP.She asked me if I wanted one and I told her yes I do but I'm not sure if my parents want another pet.So how should I tell my parents I want a pet hamster?And what's the best food to buy for hamsters?

Yo!If they are drawf hamsters, I advise an aquiriam,
or else they can get there heads stuck in the bars (personal expeirence). Also, if you have a cat that sleeps in your room,
it may not be a good idea. For the parent issue, the hamster
doesn't take up to much room or time.

THE splazzydog is right get a aquarium.My hamster was in one before he died.(on my birthday)but he was a TeddyBear hamster.He was really old.Tell your parents that you want some responsability and they dont really smell if you clean their cage every week.The best food is the kind with lots of sunflower seeds.

Take the hamster! They are cute and the sweetest little things! I also agree to get the aquiriam. My hamster has one and he loves it! Hamsters are the best! :mears:
