She is a pepper color. This is my first teddy hamster. Right now I'm keeping her in a quiet dark place in a new Crittertrail cage. I can't wait to interact with her, but want to give her some time to get use to her new surroundings.

I named her Frostie

I have 15 Syrian hamsters (and 12 gerbs), but only only long-hair "Teddy Bear" - a banded sable named Prince. He 'replaced" (so to speak) my beloved Princess, also a banded sable, who died in September. You can see photos of her in the Memorial forum.

Here is Prince.

Thanks for sharing your pictures Zouave. Prince is a beauty. Is it necessary to comb their fur? I read somewhere you needed to do that once a week.
