yes..i don't know why pet stores market these dangerous items..profit probably..i would never buy any cotton stuff for my hamster

:tup: Totally agree,I get mad when I see "cotton wool" bedding for sale,most of is synthetic as well so doubly dangerous.Please convince everyone who owns a hamster to buy safe paper bedding,or just shred up some soft kitchen paper(just as Good).

The wool bedding is bad for your hammy! But they love it. Once my hamm pulled stuffing out of a blanket and he would never let is go! (It must be addictive!) :flippy:

Ive known many hamsters who were killed by fluffy bedding. Although my neighbours used it without problems, it doesnt mean that it wont kill YOUR hamster.
