Boudicca the recluse made a surprise appearance from her Habitrail retreat tonight; I spotted her chewing on the bars. So, I took the opportunity to clean it, and get some long-promised football photos.

Blanche, of course, would be a New Orleans Saints fan.

The New Orleans Saints just missed the playoffs again! But they have a really nice uniform and helmet. :)

That is "Blanche", as in the character from the great play and movie "A Streetcar Named Desire" which was set in New Orleans.

I know! I can't believe it! They get so close and then blow it! I had to watch Street car named desire when I had Creative Writing. My favorite part is when stanley is yelling "STELLA, STELLA!"

How a great kicker such as Carney blew that extra point no one knows. he choked, I suppose.

The hamster became named Blanche as when a baby she looked like actor Karl Malden! :D I posted photos here, at HamsterHouse, and that other site I gave you above. Malden co-starred in the play and movie of "Streetcar", but when I found out the hamster was a she I couldn't name her "Karl", so Blanche is her name!
