My hamm (Poe) has a glass cage and there's mesh on the top. He bites that and some times hangs for awhile! My mom thinks he'll get stuck. How can I get him to stop! (I also have an extra cage for him.) :aeek2:

I would buy those wood chews for him. Chewing is a natural instinct for hamsters and if they dont chew, there teeth will grow to big, they will not be able to eat, and well...they will die.

Well I guess hes just doing it for fun then. Some toys may help. You could try putting a few in there.

You need to stop him from being able to get to the top part. How is he getting there? Does he jump on something? is it a shallow tank?

He's pretty big and he stands on his little hut that he sleeps in.
