Those poor animals!!!!!

Don't you just feel sorry for those poor animals in the shelters after Christmas and New Years! Why would people buy someone a pet that they didnt want! Its just sooo sad! I just want to go and adopt all the animals myself and find them all good homes!
I saw a thing about the RSPCA been 3/4 full after christmas and the expect it to be full after New Years Eve from all those pets running away coz they are scared of the fireworks!
What do people think of this?

It is sickening.

I have three foster puppies right now from our overcrowded shelter. Normally when we get too full we start euthanizing before the animals alotted time is up but we are trying to avoid it at this point.

One lady brought a tabby kitten in. She didnt want it because it was the "wrong color" but she wanted a raincheck for when kitten season gets into full swing.

We didnt allow that, of course.

i bet it would be fun having puppies!
Its a good thing that you are trying not to Euthenize them!. But what has to be done has to be done.
Why would someone take an animal back just because it was the rong colour!

If that lady said that to me and, i wouldnt be able to handle it! and how come she bought it if it was the wrong color. And even if she didnt like it just because of its color she shouldnt have accepted it (as a gift) or bought it to begin with! People like that make me sick. And i want to one day own an animal shelter where ALL pets or unwanted animals are welcome- for any reason because if you dont accept them from some 1 who doesnt want them, then they are most likely not gonna enjoy their life! Duh! OOOH ppl like that make me so mad!
