I bought 2 playpens for my little dwarfs. tomorrow i am going to get some toys for them to play with while they are in there. what do you guys reccomend i buy? :fangel:

Tubes are very popular, but be careful you get a good, sturdy brand. Also, make sure they are secured tightly. If not, they may pop open, and the little sweethearts may get out. I'm sure it will be fine though, I've never had this happen myself. I stopped giving my hamsters tubes, however, because they would urinate in them and it became quite messy. Hope you find what you're looking for!

Hammies have different tastes in toys, so you just need to experiment to find out what your hammy likes. There are many hamster toys at the pet store, pick your favorite. My hammy loves her exercise ball (its not an in-cage toy, though). But it was a great way for her to "explore" the house and be around us more without getting hurt by the dogs or cat. We also gave her wooden block to chew on and cardboard tubes and little boxes to play and chew on. Make sure there is an exercise wheel in the cage, those are important! :D
