Dwarf..trys to get the dog bones..

this morning i had a dog bone in my hand for stoney..and i was trying to get valefor out of his home..and he scurried out into my hand oddly fast..usually it takes a while..well..he went straight for the dog bone..(milk bone) and started chomping on it..i was like ack! cause i dont know if they can make them sick for any reason..so i tossed the milkbone on the floor to stoney (my doggie) and it was the end of that..but my question is ..has anyone given their hammies dog bones (im sure its odd) just currious cause Valefor was pretty eager to get it..

I give them to my hamsters and gerbils every once in a while. They love them!

Okay cause nextime ill give him a peice then lol..glad to know it wont hurt them..

Hamsters are not strictly vegetarian,they will eat meat,you can give them small pieces of plain boiled chicken now and then and mine love small bits of boiled egg and plain natural yogourt.
