HI,I have 3 degus 1 male 2 females!I know one of them has to be pregnany by now!Does any one know how to tell if a degu is pregnen?I have notcie a significent increase of food and water intake but not a increase of size!!!are they prgnant?They are 8 month old females and a 4 month old male i just recently purchased!!!Can some one answer my question?pleas help!!!!

PS.(I have been on evry degu website,no help there!)(If some one knows a website to that i might not have discovered please let me know) THANX

a degu is pregnant for about 90days and its hard to tell if she is untill about 15days before she gives birth.

thanks i hope she has them soon...i got good news too im getting a breeding pair the 2nd of april im so glad..i love degus ...there so unique...thanks for your reply..what all do know about degus?have u breed befor? ..o does an increas of apitie say shes pregnant ..b/c she eats alot now...i see you have some for sale i would buy some from u but ilive in taylor michigan./..and i dont know how much shipping costs...

I have bred before and yes the female will tend to eat more. The day she will give birth she will walk very funny with her back legs spread and alot slower then normal. You can check in, degus are not shy so they really dont mind you watching. She will have 3-8, 5 is normal for a breeder 2-3 is good for a first time. I can check on how much shipping would be if you would like. If you have any other questions id be glad to answer.

yes could you pleas check on shipping prices..i would not beable to get one soon ..it would be in a month or sooo...i am building a huge cage for breeding and it will be awile befor complete..thanks

so female degus dont get bloated when they are pregnant.. i was wondering im not sure if mine is pregant
