Can u recommend tropical semi aquatic lizard or newt?

I am posting this in both the lizard and the newt forum, sorry if this is against the rules, this is my first post here simply found this site looking for advice..

I have a 50 gal tank I have a floating island that gives about half the tank as land surface the rest is the "hole" to climb in and out of the water.

The tank water is 75~80F, with slight water current.

I want a semi aquatic lizard or two I can watch crawl and swim around.

I first saw fire bellied newts and thought they might be what I want but they would require cold water, not something I want to do.

I then found green water dragons, but I belive they would grow to big for a 50 gal tank?

So what if any options do I have for semi aquatic warm water reptillian pets?

Thank you in advance for your time and knowledge.
