A Home for Murphy (kinda long sorry!)

Hey everyone! I first want to say thank you all for your help with Murphy. I appreciate it greatly. Today I called up a friend here that I knew had sugar gliders in the past. I called her primarily b/c I had wanted to ask a question, and instead ended up finding the perfect home for the little guy. My friend had been glider-less for a few years, but recently received a glider for free as a gift. Well, she hasn't had the money to go buy a new glider, and she hated that she didn't have a companion for him. I told her about my male glider and I could almost hear her drooling on the other end. Before I said another word, she asked me if I wanted to sell him. I actually started laughing, telling her I had been thinking about that the day before, but decided not to, but that I would love to get a couple of rats if I didn't keep him. Well...she actually was wanting to give up her two male rats b/c she doesn't want to breed them anymore, so we made the decision to swap. Murphy now has a wonderful home with an experienced glider owner, and I have adopted two adorable adult male rats...Voodoo and Dodger. We didn't even have any sort of "buying" price, just the guarantee that we would each take great care of the other's beloved pet(s). I know this is better for Murphy and I am excited b/c I am a rat mommy again! Thanks again everyone!

What a happy story! It's sad that you had to let murphy go, but everything worked out so well, and for all for you!
